for the NATO STO HFM-363 Research Workshop
to be held in Stockholm, Sweden
10-12 May 2023
We are now seeking Presentations, Panels, Posters, and Working Groups!
Objectives:
This Research Workshop (RWS) aims to identify and explore the dimensions of military culture, including socialization, sub-cultures, rituals, lived experience of different military sub-groups and their intersectionalities, cohesion, leadership, and effects on operations, and more.
This NATO RWS will provide an international forum to share scientific development, innovative research approaches, critical theories, best practices for knowledge mobilization, and insights to develop a comprehensive understanding of military culture and proposals of culture change.
Deadline for Abstracts : 30 December 2022 / 15 December 2022 for US authors
Proposed abstracts should be sent to the Programme Committee Chairs Dr. Isabelle Richer (Isabelle.richer@forces.gc.ca) AND Dr. Nancy Taber (ntaber@brocku.ca) AND to the CSO/HFM Panel Office assistant Ms. Krystal Thompson (krystal.thompson@cso.nato.int).
US Authors and US affiliated authors: please note that your procedures for submitting an Abstract requires an earlier deadline: 15 December 2022 (Instructions are detailed in the Flyer).
Accepted Papers should be accompanied by a signed Publication Release Form (Form 13) available at the NATO STO Website (https://www.sto.nato.int/Pages/support-for-authors.aspx), otherwise no material can be published there.
This Workshop is open to NATO nations and STO EOP nations.
