Eyal Lewin is a lecturer at the Department of Middle East Studies and Political Science, Ariel University. He is also a research associate at the Lieutenant General Dan Shomron Kinneret Institute for Social Relations, Peace and Security. His books and articles focus on national resilience and specifically the psycho-political dimension of national resilience in wartime.
Before turning to academic research, Lewin managed a consultancy and training company for sales managers in the financial sector for 15 years. Before entering the business sector, he observed the workings of Israeli politics as a parliamentary assistant to a Knesset member and to the head of a department in the Jewish Agency. In this role he fulfilled positions in Zionist missions in Israel and abroad.
As a Major (res.) following 10 years of combat service, Lewin volunteers as a battalion adjutant in the Home Front Command.
